BEYOND PISSED OFF…

Just wanna get this of my chest…

In my 10 years more or less of working for a varied number of companies, It never came to in me that such a mindless and inconsiderate event like this will happen. For the first time in my working life I’ve experienced not receiving my salary.

“ACCENTURE/Navitaire” or whoever fucking fault it is who decided to make a “ONE TIME DEDUCTION” to our salaries, due to uncollected taxes that came about of the re-integration of navitaire to accenture. Although they gave a none taxed sum for the separation with navitaire, they should have instead withheld/collected the supposed amount and spread out the deduction within the year. Though I personally still have enough to get me by for the next payday, the thought of how mindless the action they have taken was enough to to make my blood boil. What happened to the core values this snub nosed conios were boasting about, if this is how things are done in this company then I would rather not be part of it.

I appreciate a move initiated by our Director to them that at least spread the deduction, unfortunately it was already decided and we were left hanging in midair and wondering if we’ll at least receive something.

I’ve asked about the legal consequences of this action that was done to us and it was said that such action was in violation of the labor code of the Philippines. How and why I didn’t ask them to elaborate but this seriously makes me think of taking legal actions. I’m currently looking on how to contact DOLE for advise on what can be done, unless somehow these people open up there eyes and realize how stupid their decision was. Is it a go or no go I’m still trying to make up my mind.
